Growing in relationship with God

Growing in relationship with each other

Growing Family Praise Center for the Kingdom of God.

MISSION

The mission of Family Praise Center is to fulfill the great commission of Christ, based upon the great commandments; loving God and loving one another.

VISION

The vision of Family Praise Center is to build a body of believers who, through a firm grasp of the Word of God and insight into the vision and burden of our Lord, penetrate and saturate our city with the Good News, while attaining spiritual health and growth not only in the one Mother church but in several works throughout the local region. We carry this vision until Christ returns.

PURPOSE

The purpose of Family Praise Center is to bring people to Jesus and membership in His family; to develop them to a Christ-like maturity and equip them for their ministry in the church and their life commission in the world, in order to magnify the name of JESUS.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

At Family Praise Center, we believe there is ONE true God in heaven and earth, who has chosen to reveal Himself through His Word and love toward His creation. Jesus is that one true God who came, manifest in flesh, to purchase the salvation of all mankind. His shed blood was freely given that we might be justified by His act of righteousness and not our own, and there is no other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. It is clearly stated in the inherent Word of God, the Bible, that except a man be born again of water and Spirit, he cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven. The Bible is clear concerning the plan of salvation; that all men are to have faith in Jesus Christ, repent (turn from one's sinful life, desiring change) and be baptized in Jesus' name for the remission of sins. They are to receive, without exception, the gift of the Holy Ghost which is clearly seen in Scripture to have been evidenced by the speaking of other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance.
